📦 Unibeam SMSC Integrations

Welcome to the Unibeam SMSC-POC documentation!
This README provides a concise overview of SMSC integrations for various telecom partners and regions, including configuration, credentials, endpoints, and network requirements.
All environments are optimized for AWS EKS and secure connectivity.

🦾 Integration Summaries

🌍 MTN SMSC

  • Regions: UK, AMS, LON
  • Connectivity: Private network, allowed range 192.168.128.0/24
  • Endpoints:
  • UK: 41.181.169.53, 41.181.169.54
  • AMS: 41.181.169.66, 41.181.169.67
  • Port: 5012
  • Credentials:
  • SystemID: AGG_UBPOC_A2P
  • Password: 68YuAH8
  • Subnet:
  • AMS: 41.181.169.64/28
  • LON: 41.181.169.48/28
  • Sample Connectivity Test: 
    nc -zv 41.181.169.67 5012

Connectivity Test

Use the above command to verify access from the allowed subnet.

🛡️ OmanTel IPSEC POC

  • SMSC IP & Port: 172.20.5.30:2775
  • Allowed Subnet: 192.168.128.0/24
  • Security: PFS enabled, DH Groups (Phase 1: 2, 14; Phase 2: 2, 5, 14)
  • Lifetime: Phase 1 max 28800 seconds

Recommended Settings

Enable PFS and use specified DH groups for secure negotiation.

Network Access

Only the allowed subnet can connect to the SMSC.

🇪🇸 Orange Spain (SP)

  • Mode: Two-way (MT/MO)
  • Endpoint: stunnel-service.orange-sp-poc.svc.cluster.local:2876
  • Credentials:
    • MT: uniBeaMT / hofkejhk
    • MO: uniBeaMO / nofkeakx
  • SMSC Address Code: 34665291568
  • Configuration: See orange_sp_smsc.md for full JSON.

Two-Way Mode

Use the correct credentials for MT and MO connections.

🇮🇱 Partner SMSC

  • Endpoints:
  • 10.80.16.62:5591
  • 10.80.16.65:5591
  • System ID: 9003
  • Password: Unib9003
  • NPI/TON: Source 0/0, Destination 1/1
  • SMSC Address Code: 9003

Partner SMSC Integration

Both endpoints use the same credentials and SMPP configuration.

🇪🇸 Telefonica Spain

  • Old Endpoint: 81.45.2.117:4331 (Working)
  • New Endpoint: 80.58.130.134:4431 (For migration)
  • System ID: unibeam
  • Password: pocunibm
  • Hostname: pcm.preproduccion.telefonica.es:4331

Telefonica Spain Integration

Use the old endpoint for current connectivity; migrate to the new endpoint as needed.

TIM

  • SMSC IP & Port: 10.115.229.79:17600
  • Allowed Subnet: 192.168.128.0/24

Network Access

Only the allowed subnet can connect to the SMSC.
